Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Interlink: Multidisciplinary Journal is firmly committed to the originality and integrity of all submitted works. Every manuscript submitted will undergo a plagiarism screening process before entering the peer review stage.
Procedure:
-
Initial screening is conducted by the editor using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools.
-
The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20% overall, with no single source exceeding 5%, except for properly quoted and referenced content.
-
If the similarity exceeds the acceptable threshold, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright.
-
Self-plagiarism is not allowed unless properly cited and substantially modified.
-
In cases of serious plagiarism (e.g., verbatim copying without attribution, data falsification), the manuscript will be immediately rejected, and ethical actions may be taken against the author(s).
